Complimentary shipping on every order, anywhere we’re allowed to ship. Each piece is packed by hand and sent insured with tracking. Domestic orders typically arrive in 3 to 5 business days. International orders depend on customs, but we’ll email tracking the moment your package leaves the studio.
For international orders, customs fees, import duties, and taxes are collected on delivery and aren’t included in your order total.

Our pieces are designed to be lived in, but a few small habits keep them looking the way they should:
- Take pieces off before swimming, showering, sleeping, or exercising.
- Apply lotions, perfumes, and sunscreen first; let them dry before putting jewelry on.
- Store each piece separately in a soft pouch to avoid scratches.
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. For a deeper clean, warm water and mild soap with a soft brush.
Manufacturing warranty
Each piece is covered against manufacturing defects for 7 days from delivery. If an issue arises, we will repair or replace it at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, and lost stones are not covered. Paid repairs may be available at transparent rates.
For repairs, write to info@1979atelier.com with your order number and a few photos. We’ll send a shipping label and a quote.
Find your size.
The most accurate way to measure is with a jeweler’s sizing ring. Most cities have at least one independent jeweler who will do this for free, in a minute, no appointment.
At home
- Wrap a piece of string or strip of paper around the base of the finger.
- Mark where the string overlaps and measure that length in millimeters.
- That number is the inside circumference. Match it to a US ring size: 51.9 mm = 6, 54 mm = 6.75, 56.6 mm = 7.5, etc.
- Measure at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when cold.
Between sizes? Email us your measurement and the piece you’re considering — we’ll recommend the better fit based on band width.
